Custom Window Coverings & Custom Window Covering Frames

Reinarts Stained Glass will fabricate, at your location, custom window frames for your window coverings. The design will match the contour of your existing windows. Standard frame colors are bronze anodized aluminum (shown here), white and sandstone. Other colors are available as a special order.

Standard custom window coverings consist of ¼ inch plate glass or Lexan.

Lexan, developed by GE, is a polycarbonate (PC) plastic and offers high impact resistance. However, it has little insulating value and over time it becomes cloudy.

When high impact resistance is not a concern, ¼ inch plate glass will give long lasting clarity and provide good insulating value.
